Reuben A. Munday
CHAIRMAN EMERITUS / Detroit, MIReuben A. Munday is Chairman Emeritus of the law firm of Lewis & Munday, P.C. in Detroit, Michigan, where he has practiced law since 1977. From 1994 to 2003, Reuben served as President and CEO of the Firm. His primary areas of practice include commercial leases, mortgage financing, commercial and industrial real estate development, construction law and municipal corporations. Born in Orange, New Jersey, Reuben was raised in Tuskegee Institute, Alabama, where his parents taught at Tuskegee Institute, now Tuskegee University. He is a graduate of Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School in Kingston, Pennsylvania where he received the Ruggles Award as the outstanding graduating senior. Reuben is married to Dr. Cheryl Casselberry Munday, who is Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Detroit Mercy. Reuben and Cheryl have one son, Reuben Ahmed Munday, and one grandson, Reuben Akil Munday.
