Lewis & Munday, P.C. Welcomes Danielle V. Smart to the Firm

Danielle V. SmartDanielle V. Smart is a member of the Firm’s Public Law and Litigation Practice Groups. Danielle joins the firm following clerkships with Michigan Supreme Court Justice Kyra Harris Bolden and United States Magistrate Judge Curtis Ivy Jr. During her time clerking in the Eastern District of Michigan, Danielle worked on civil matters, such as prisoner’s civil rights cases, social security disability appeals, and discovery disputes. While working with Justice Bolden, Danielle worked on criminal and civil appeals, including civil rights, civil liberties, and judicial ethics cases. Danielle was also a member of a national championship mock trial team during law school. She graduated cum laude from Georgetown University in 2016 and received her law degree from The George Washington University Law School in 2019. Danielle grew up in the metro Detroit area, hailing originally from Southfield, Michigan. She is a proud legacy member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Danielle is thrilled to join Lewis & Munday and contribute to the Firm’s storied history.
